Select the category which would embrace your interest to get a list of appropriate editorial professionals for your project. Then scan the results for the best match, or include a text search to further qualify the subject.

For example, for history of the Middle East, select ‘History’ above, and search for ‘middle-east*’ below (catching a possible hyphen, or terminating ‘ern’).

To find something concrete and unambiguous, like ‘Egyptology’, ‘MathType’, ‘Cookery’, skip the category field and just make a text search.

Don’t get too hung up on subject matter – you might be excluding the best editor for your project; editors are intelligent, versatile people; editing does not always require domain expertise, but it does always benefit from a rapport with you, the client; read a few of our profiles to learn more about us.

Enter a search word or phrase:

If a term might be hyphenated, include the hyphen and we’ll find all forms:

south-east asia will also find southeast asia and south east asia

Use * anywhere in a term as a wildcard to represent zero or more printable characters:

charit* will find charity and charities

For a search as complex as you like use AND, OR, and brackets freely:

botany OR plant science

(mathematics OR mathematical physics) AND (mathtype OR latex)

And no, don’t search for AND or OR (in caps) – or brackets!
